Chiropractor
Clayton C. Elswick D.C.
“For treating my patients and helping them get out of pain and back to the activities they love, my education has been very important. At school, I learned valuable techniques and how to use the latest equipment. But since my school days, I have found that listening to my patients is an education, too. That’s why I always take the necessary time to understand what they are going through.”
- Doctor of Chiropractic: Cum laude, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA
- Bachelor of Science: Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, KY
Continuous training for advanced care
“I earned my chiropractic degree in 1989. You can imagine how far the field has come in all that time. That’s why continuing education is so important. I believe in giving my patients the best that chiropractic has to offer, which is virtually impossible to do without continuing education. One of the reasons we receive referrals from attorneys, patients, and surgeons each year is that they have learned to rely on our expertise to help speed the recovery of their clients.”
- Certificate of Proficiency: Spinal & Skeletal Radiology
- Continuing Education: Musculoskeletal System, Spine
Working with his colleagues
“My professional associations are another way to stay on top of developments in chiropractic. The exchange of ideas work both ways; not only do I get the best of what chiropractors around the country have to offer, but I also have the opportunity to contribute something to the progress of a patient I will never meet. That gives me great satisfaction.”

The sporting life helps patients
“One of the most exciting times of my life was my involvement in college athletics. The experience taught me the meaning of discipline, effort and reaching beyond what I thought was my limit. I could not have known at the time that all of these qualities would help me treat my patients’ years later.”
